a confirmation of the release date for Starfield, saying the eagerly
anticipated space game is still on track for release by Q2 of this year (thanks
VGC). There have been rumors the game would be delayed, and this seems to
lay them to rest. Here's the simple update:
Starfield arrives exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC in the first half of 2023.

Edit: Nope. They evolved gamebryo into creation engine and they are doing creation engine 2 for the new games, so still gamebryo at it's core.

It will be good (for me) when there is a GOTY or Legendary or Galaxy Edition or whatever they are going to name it with all patches and expansions on board. Yeah, it will probably be 2026 by then but I don't care. Another advantage is that there will be the inevitable unofficial patches and other much needed mods by the time there is a complete edition of Starfield. Patience will be rewarded by a much improved experience.

Thereabouts, yeah. Recently we've had reports that Redfall is releasing first and also that that will be in May. I would honestly be grateful for the time to play through the new Zelda before this comes out, lol.

I'm sure this will be buggy as hell on day 1, but I'll still be sorely tempted to buy it on release day. The potential for this game should be off the charts... especially once the mods start coming out. They aren't pulling some weird bullshit to block mods, right?
Starfield, Diablo 4, I am probably going to give in and get both on or before release day. Sacrilege, I know.
