Looked at the game, I'm not knocking it or the devs, congrats to them, but the game just does not look all that good or interesting.
My wife and I play pseudo-co-op, in which she and I share the experience of playing together, watching each other fail, sharing stories about failure, and advising each other on how to do things like break through aquifers or build complex machines. It's a better overall cooperative experience than in most building games which generally involve never-ending defense combat.
