The real news here is the obvious Meteor Lake desktop CPU delay. One could argue that a CPU that has not officially been announced yet can not be delayed but I remember that a lot of tech sites were pretty sure based on info out of Intel that Meteor Lake was originally a potential early 2023 release.
It has slipped further and further in recent months and this is confirmation that Meteor Lake for desktop has effectively been indefinitely delayed. There were also rumors recently that Intel might go back to only 6 P-Cores for Meteor Lake which would also be massively embarrassing.

Anyway, it sure looks like the "Intel 7" (10nm) disaster is getting a new iteration with the "Intel 4" process, at least as far as desktop SKUs are concerned. Massive delays, maybe even product cancellations... it will be interesting to watch what happens (or does not happen) at Intel next year.
