I'd love to see a new uncharted, just hope they make it more like tomb raider. I just finished #4 and lost legacy. The latter was ok, however #4 just seemed to be too long and too much of "the princess is in the other tower".
I haven't tried it yet but it's been on my wishlist. It was my understanding that it is like the new Tomb Raiders, no? Wasn't the new Tomb Raider trillogy inspired by it?
The new trilogy seems more influenced by the Batman: Arkham series, but I am sure the cinematic aspect of the presentation in the newer Tomb Raider games was a direct reaction to the response Uncharted got for it's VERY cinematic presentation of the gameplay. Besides the obvious character differences, their presentation styles vary in a big way. Uncharted is a non-stop ride. When you get done barely surviving one part you are already in the next part. Tomb Raider stops and starts. You get through something, and unless they drop a QT event in between, you usually have time to stop and get yourself together...side quest..etc. I like em both, but the Uncharted series as a whole is a must play for any gamer IMO. With Tomb Raider, I would probably recommend the very first one and the second one in the newer trilogy as "must plays" as the other games tend to be very..."sequelitis"...at least IMO.
