First time I heard of key pairs was in the early 1990s when I read an article in Broadwatch Magazine about PGP. I was mightily impressed at the time. I would have thought the process/idea would be utilized everywhere by now, but apparently it wasn't to be.

Key pairs? <checks> Key pairs. Much new. Such technology.

Not throwing shade on Bitwarden but key pairs have been in use, and quite functional across a broad variety of applications, for years and years now. Smart security folks have been recommending them for almost as long as being a far better alternative to passwords. Which it is. Exponentially better.

Glad to see the it finally catching on.
