Played some bot matches to get a feel for things and learn how to play. It's much tighter and more dialed in than when I played the beta last year. The bots play Conquest pretty well, and they can be set to different levels of difficulty to provide different levels of challenge. The maps are expansive and nicely rendered, and though I feel like they're not as nice looking as they could be, my 1080ti handled 1440P without any issues. It's a lot of fun, and I'm tempted to pick it up so I can play coop with my cousin.
Also it was a nice to play as Michael K. Williams. He passed away last year, so I had no idea he had lent his likeness and voice to the game. I didn't even recognize him at first, I was just trying different characters out. Then he said a few words, and I was like "holy shit!" It was a fun moment. You feel me?
It's not perfect though. I played a game of Breakthrough, and I captured the first waypoint of the sector with my squad, but no one would go capture the second waypoint. Everytime I went up to get it no one would come with me, and the flag wouldn't change. Maybe there's some trick to it, but I was unable to advance, and the bots seemed useless.
