I think I might just out right skip this forever. Crystal skull was so bad I never saw it a second time. Indie still doesn't believe in magic after all the magic he has seen? Don't get me started on Harison Ford. He should have stopped doing interviews a long time ago; he does not appear to care for his fans, or the movies he is involved in. I'd happily never watch him again.

I'm not talking about the de-aging, which I find creepy enough on its own. The jump between vehicles was clearly a digital double. The scene on the horse is a terrible head replacement job. Every single action shot with Indy in the trailer is either a digital replacement to some degree, is completely hiding his face, or a close-up on him.

It's not like I expect Harrison Ford to be doing his own stunts, but they shouldn't have written action scenes for him if they couldn't convincingly pull them off without a ton of CGI. Happy to be proven wrong, but this is looking a lot closer to Crystal Skull v2, which suffered greatly from some bad directing choices and poor FX.

It's not a digital double. They de-aged him. He's doing most of his stuns, which is impressive for an 80-year-old.

as the resident optimist... it's fucking trash. and ol' harry is indeed old as fuck. but at least he's said this will be his last Indy film. here's hoping Lucas realizes the same.
