I wish they would have done remakes of the first two and saved remaking the 3rd one until after the 4th. I own all The Witcher games on GOG, and I haven't played them. I'm not big on 3rd person games, but I'd like to play them because I hear good things about them, except that the controls for the first two are janky. If they'd done remakes of the first two, I probably could have played through the trilogy by the time the 4th one comes out and might have bought it at release. As it is, I'll wait for the remakes of the first two and then eventually pick up the 4th one.

I already kind of feel bad that I have only paid $1 for all three of them. I got a GOG key for the 3rd one with a GPU purchase, and they gave away one of the others. Then they had some kind of complete your collection deal which got me the other one for $1, which I think they later gave away for free anyway.

Sounds like we may get a lot of Witcher content coming in the next big CDPR releases. I'm stoked for that even if the time I have free a day becomes less and less. Looking forward to them regardless, even if I have to stretch them out over a year, lol.

I recall playing the original Witcher 3. My first playthrough, I started in May and finished in November.
