Like some of you DreyerMom can't take opioids, she gets super itchy when she takes them. She has some chronic pain. She also suffers from insomnia. Edibles help both of those issues.

Clinical pain is not the same thing as chronic pain, so it is irrelevant and only gives fuel to the puritan bible thumpers who feel that government must tell the weak and ailing (those least able to fight for their rights) what to do.

Ditto. I can't tale opioids as they make me violently sick. When I was much younger, I had to have back surgery and the pain was starting to wear on me. Cue my normally straight laced father who showed up with a bag of weed. We got high as a kite on the back porch and it really eased the pain.

Oh boy now I regret my slight edit . I didn't want to seem against science with my anecdotal evidence. I am very glad to hear it helps you out as well.

Since then, I've used it to sparingly treat my insomnia when the insomnia starts to turn in to a streak. Reboots my brain, I get an amazing night's sleep, and I wake up the next morning without the hungover feeling I get from my prescription sleeping meds.

In my opinion, marijuana should be treated and regulated in the same way as alcohol is nation wide. It won't be, of course, especially not in derp red states as that wouldn't allow them to systematically target and jail people of color.

I can say without question it has helped me. My family frequently tell me how amazing my turn around was after getting my license and that they wouldn't believe it if not witnessing it first hand.

Even though I was directly referred for it from pain management from a major hospital in NJ, they couldn't write me a script because they weren't licensed except for the the Oncology section I believe. I had to go through veriheal.com but it worked great. That was a few years ago though but I just keep renewing it through them. Needless to say it isn't hard to get a card if you want one, the dispensary's even offer it now, but with Adult Use there in little point unless you are a frequent user.

Edit: I just want to note that doesn't mean I don't believe the study, it helped me in more than just with pain and I was able to get off of a variety of other medications, but I can admit it might all be in my head. That is usually my problem and that is why it helps is what I am saying I guess.

I howl along with my dog all the time. It's a good bonding exercise. If the dog(s) recognize you as pack lead, they'll even match your volume so you're not howling at full blast.
