Win10 is a rock solid gaming platform, especially now that MS is no longer doing any major updates to it, and breaking it in the process.

I see no reason to upgrade to Win11 until they sort out all their problems and I'm forced to by Win 10's end of support in Oct 2025. I have no interest in being a beta tester.

No, Windows 11 22H2 update is pretending to be intelligent. It scans your PC for potential blockers and if a troublesome program is found then no 22H2 update for you. I was/am affected by this, probably because I have Fallout 3 GOTY installed. It never bothered me because 22H2 does not have any features I need/want. The explorer tabs have been delayed indefinitely once again so big yawn @ 22H2.

Then recently Microsoft pulled the 22H2 update altogether because it was causing gaming performance issues for many users.

That's why these news are a bit strange. This is obviously about people upgrading from Windows 10 but why would Microsoft make it easier to upgrade to Win 11 22H2, especially for gamers, when gaming performance of 22H2 is garbage?

It doesn't make any sense but this is Microsoft we're talking about so senseless shit is business as usual, I guess.
