It's turkey day here in the U.S., so Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating the
occasion. As always, here's hoping everyone has lots for which to be thankful,
even if this isn't a holiday for you. I've mentioned a few discussions with
MrsBlue about ways to ease our quarantine, but when push comes to shove, we're
still playing it extra safe. So with regrets we're not heading off to spend the
day with family. Maybe next year. In the meantime, we're not shortchanging
ourselves. We picked up a 10 lb. turkey, and will have Thanksgiving dinner for
two with all the fixings. And, yes, turkey salad for at least a week.

Classic scam been going on for a while. A few youtubers ordered them for fun and cracked them open. There is usually an SD card reader inside with a 64 or 128 GB SD card, and the controller has been modded to report that it's a 16TB SSD.
Unlike some scams, they actually work... for a while until, until the card is full. I think the idea is that by the time it fails, a non techie will write it off and it will be past the return period.
I actually reported one of these by publicly shaming Amazon on their Facebook page and they took it down, but another reseller just pops up to replace it,

I had chicken curry last week that was so good I thought I would die. The chicken could easily be replaced with turkey.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. As is usual for my family, we are not at all having the "traditional" meal since none of us like turkey. Tostadas, 7 layer bean dip, and Mexican rice is on the menu. My mom and I have been prepping and cooking since 7 am.
