125 000 in a market of ~100 millions sold in a generation is nothing ( 0.125% ).

Even if they sold 8 times as much in the next 2 years, it's still only 1%, so Ozmodan is spot on, it's for 1%'ers.

And according to reports, the 4080s are rotting on shelves selling even worse than the 4090s.

The problem is that every tech Youtuber with 150k+ subscribers got a 4090 "review unit" so it seems like many ordinary gamers sprung for one. I just buy a previous gen high end card when the new shiny ones come out.

But in Nvidias case buying last gen is not a guarantee that you don't get pwned in price per performance anyway.....
