How do you say FAQ? For me it's never been anything but "fack." But most of the
time I hear someone say it they spell out F-A-Q. This seems odd to me, but a
little poking around suggests it may be correct. I'm not sure how I'll handle it
if it turns out I am wrong. Years ago I corrected my mistaken pronunciation of
gib to "jib." And I even try to go by the GIF inventor's counter-intuitive
pronunciation of "jif." But a man can only take so much, so this may be a hill
I'm willing to facking die on.

Gif (thankfully largely taken over by jpg's so it's not often I have to hear different pronunciations of gif)
and don't care about the third because I always thought it was a stupid word/abbreviation that I've never had reason to use...
Speaking of which, how long before one of the creators of jpg states that it was always supposed to be pronounced "juh-peej"?
