EA Games Losing Online Services

The Electronic Arts Online Service Updates Page lists additional titles soon losing online services, including Mirror's Edge (thanks True Achievements). It's not clear exactly what functionality these games will lose when their online services end. IGN rounds up the short-term server shutdown schedule:
October 20, 2022

November 9, 2022

  • Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
  • Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars

  • Mercenaries 2: World in Flames

November 30, 2022

  • Onrush

Mhh, considering Red Alert 3 got cracked by having a local EA server emulator that clones an online service I'd say you are missing the fact that the SP campaign was always-online, had nothing to do with gamespy, that was just match-making.

But as for CnC3 - literally no idea what they mean... wasn't even aware the game HAD an online functionality ,)

I thought they closed Mercenaries 2: World in Flames several years ago, about a year after launching it!

I'm sure it was a story on here but I can't find it.

I guess they hated providing a MP service of a game I bought, so much, that they have decided to kill it off a second time.
