Today is (more or less) the 20th anniversary of the launch of No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way. The Wikipedia Entry for the game lists an October 1, 2002 North American release date. But our archived story on this is from October 2nd, so that's what we'll go with. To celebrate, our desktop view now proudly displays Walter "2" Costinak's logo based on the game. Thank you to Steve for updating the logo for our current format.

Ah, the No One Lives Forever series. Two games I wish someone could untangle the rights mess to, so that they could either end up on GoG or get a modernized version a la Nightdive. I may need to go replay them now. Thanks for the nostalgia hit!

I've had these installed for awhile--they run fine in Win10/11. I haven't seen anything fishy about them, yet...seem fine. the site has been up for years, so apparently no one is claiming copyright.
Okay, I'd love to replay these classics. I looked into that link Walt gave us. Seems legit. They covered it on RockPaperShotgun.com:
https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/no-one-will-sell-no-one-lives-forever-so-lets-download-itSome anonymous heroes are not only risking the wraths of all involved by distributing both games, for free, but are putting out patched versions that'll run on your snazzy new PC, even in resolutions like 3440x1440 - I know, cos I just played it like that. And gosh, NOLF2 looks good in HD!
Going to get myself some NOLF love tonight! Thanks Walt!
