The Lake of Kalandra expansion is now live,
as promised, in the PC edition
of Path of Exile, the
free-to-play action/RPG from Grinding Gears Games. This is also coming to
consoles, and is expected next week.

You may recognise Kalandra from the infamous Mirror of Kalandra, Path of Exile's most valuable item. The Lake of Kalandra expansion explores the identity of this iconic character and allows you a taste of her power.
Our August expansion contains the Kalandra challenge league, improvements to the Atlas endgame, four new gems, 14 new unique items, 100+ buffed existing uniques, revamps to Harvest, Beyond and Archnemesis, a variety of balance changes and much more!

Soo bloated.... only Diablo 4 can save us! (Pending microtransactions) Path of Exile 2 will end up being just as bad as PoE 1, my prediction.
POE's gameplay is a cursed problem that cannot be fixed. So GGG has fully embraced this problem by pressing hard on the accelerator and launching their car into a 500-foot drop by making it more complex and not friendly to newbies and casuals. They started that about six years ago. The vehicle is still falling. The only solution is POE2 (if, of course, it doesn't introduce the same cursed problem).
