I'm not clicking on anything that requires registration or subscription, and I never will, but I am thoroughly versed in the bullshit that Deere is up to with their equipment. Their firmware is hideously ancient on commodity grade hardware with exploits that have been patched, in some cases, for years yet Deere doesn't issue updates. On top of that, they are still using Windows CE as the OS and that was EOLed in 2018. There comes a point where that becomes a liability.
But Deere is a shitty company with shitty products. They're a lot like Harley-Davidson and Jack Daniels. A subpar product trading on a past legacy and overcharging for it.
