Acquitted just got censored in violation with our contract with the major gaming company @Fanatical. Acquitted was included in their best-selling bundle, but was removed today since the company claims customers have been offended.

Gun was a straw purchase because Rittenhouse wasn't old enough to buy it himself.

Oh I can't wait to have an argument with someone who didn't even watch the trial come up in here and want to talk about "facts". Apparently half-cocked means you disagree with and are frustrated when presented with facts outside your bubble.
I love how tech lefties can come in here and say wild hot takes from post #1 and it is just the norm as long as fits your vibe, but heaven forbid someone disagrees, guess they must be a mega troll.
Rittenhouse crossed a state line.
Rittenhouse obtained a weapon that wasn't purchased by him and was not legally allowed to use.
Rittenhouse lied about reasoning for his being in the location.
Rittenhouse lied about his profession (see previous).
Rittenhouse was upset that he had trash thrown at him, confronted someone, and then felt himself was in danger.
Rittenhouse opened fire on the person he confronted.
Rittenhouse fled the area after opening fire.
Rittenhouse was confronted, believed to be an active shooter.
Rittenhouse opened fire believing he was in danger.
Rittenhouse left the scene again.
Rittenhouse casually took his time to turn himself over to police.
Rittenhouse has a history of violence.
Rittenhouse has a history of racial resentment.
But hey...you believe that I didn't watch the trial, the farce that was both the judge and both legal counsel...you have your viewpoint, and as sad as it is, this country doesn't persecute for it and nor do I, but do not dare believe that you are working on factual information when there's mountains of evidence pointing otherwise.
I also just adore the simple minded strawmen arguments when someone disagrees with a blatant abuse of the justice system that they must be some 'lefty NPC'.

Baha oh man, nothing like the Rittenhouse story to be one of the best test cases to see who is a NPC and wants to believe in alternate Twitter reality. Thanks for the laughs from the usuals.
Almost disappointed no one said crossed state lines, but ya'll really made up for it with the claims of "white supremacy".
Also amused by the sudden interest in rules here after I've been personally attacked about 20 times with no consequences to the repeat offenders.
As for your amusement over the 'sudden interest in rules', might I suggest you actually become a contributing member of value to this community before you attempt to denigrate the rest of us. I mean, almost all of your posts are of some half-cocked half-thoughts that do nothing to further an actual conversation, much like this very post you made.

This exactly! I'm sick to death with all the social out cries and canceling.
Its gotten to the point of being overly absurd!

"Social media outcry" gets a game pulled, awesome. I understand it's a very polarizing issue but if people feel bad about a game they don't have to play it and don't have to buy it. I'm uncomfortable with plenty of things but I don't demand that it gets banned. There were plenty of controversies about games in the past and honestly I'm happy with every controversial game that eventually got published. If it doesn't gain any traction, good riddance, if it has some fans who enjoy it good for them. I'd never demand or put pressure on a game publisher to pull a game just because it subjectively is something I do not enjoy.

Cutters posts have been low effort offensive garbage since he signed on. Banning him would do a lot for the quality of these forums. But I think, after having been here since the days before the bluesnews.com domain, I've come to realize that these forums are just not healthy and nothing Blue can do will fix them. Every time I click on a comment thread, it reinforces my decision to leave the gaming industry.
Anyway, another 20+ year vet saying adios and thanks for all the links. Sorry Blue, but for once you gotta take a stand and do something, passively moderating a perpetual problem ain't gonna cut it. Seriously, more than half of his post history right now could be removed for rule violations, why do you shelter him? For his free speech to just shit on *everything* all the time? Bleh.
