New job listings such as this one for a "Hard Surface Artist" reveal Respawn Entertainment is incubating a new single-player first-person shooter using the Apex Legends setting (thanks Dexerto). Plans for a single-player adventure from Respawn surfaced last year, but there's no way of knowing for now if these news bits intersect, or are separate. Here's what the listing has to say about this "brand new Respawn single-player adventure":

Yeah of course they have to expand the Apex wing of the Titanfall universe. I for one, sort of hate everything about Apex Legends besides the fact that it shares some good mechanics from Titanfall. Just thinking about Apex Legends makes me sick, lol, it reminds me of a little kid that drank a Monster energy drink too fast, crushed up some smarties and snorted a line of it and is asking "Why?" about everything every god damn second. That's Apex Legends to me.
