It has a deep emotional core. It's amazing in how it balances all of these things while remaining coherent and entertaining.PHJF wrote on Jun 21, 2022, 12:36:Hard to believe as silly as the trailer seems. But I'll withhold judgement for now...
Pretty sure Everything Everywhere All At Once is the must-see movie of the year.![]()

Given how much more homogeneous the US is and how much trouble we have getting things done, it's amazing India is a nation at all.The Flying Penguin wrote on Jun 20, 2022, 09:21:I didn’t know Indian movies were practically segmented state by state. Patrick Willems is also raving about the movie RRR. His video overview is tempting me to watch it. It looks amazeballs: https://youtu.be/dPU2D5Ftjbw
Guess I’ll watch it.

Thanks for looking it up. We really need to change to a more regular/systematic calendar...

The gift of blackness? Yeah, I imagine that's what all those slaves and most blacks down through America's history must have felt...just how lucky they were. Jesus, NPR is to the left what Fox is to the right.
OK but would you like to comment on the article and not just the headline? No? Too many words? Okay.
Didn't he tell me to kill myself last week for pointing out how frequently he did that?

I talked to someone who was upset that Juneteenth was on the same day as Father's day apparently. I don't much care about either, but if I had to weigh the importance of both I'd say an entire race of people being freed is more important to commemorate than that time I had sex with my ex-wife one time when she was drunk.
OK, but to be fair, how many other people had sex with your wife while she was drunk?![]()
