Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up five years after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order. Cal must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as he begins to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy. Accompanied by his trusty companion BD-1, Cal will meet and ally himself with an array of unique and interesting characters on his journey. Jedi: Survivor will expand on the series’ dynamic combat in new and innovative ways. In order to survive, Cal must learn new skills and grow his connection with the Force.

Hated BD-1 just like all the "funny" or "cute" droids in Star Wars. Maybe an uncanny valley thing, I don't know, or I just grew tired of it. The first dozen times I watched the OT, I thought 3PO and R2 were kinda funny but at some point they really started getting on my nerves.
Same with super smart-ass unfunny HK-47 in KotOR or HK-51 in SWTOR. So fucking annoying. Luckily they are optional companions in those games. And BD-1 can shove his "cute" beeping. Not impressed. I wish that trash heap was optional, too.

Oh, come on, the Golden Boy and R2 were really great characters. And if K-2SO from Rogue One finds out that you don't like droids, well... You asked for it.
