Weird West Released [Mar 31, 2022, 10:18 am ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
It's high noon for Weird West, which is now available for PC,
PlayStation, and Xbox. This is a stylized RPG set in a version of the wild west
that lives up to the "weird" in the title. The
launch trailer offers
a look at that weirdness and the game's cel shaded graphics. You can pick up the
Windows edition on GOG.com*, the
Epic Games Store,

Humble Store*, or
Steam.

If you let the perfectly serviceable graphics keep you away from the game, you're going to miss out on some stellar gameplay.
It might look like Commandos, but it doesn't have the forced 'just one solution allowed here' puzzle aspect.
Instead it uses a Deus Ex 'three paths to any point' design combined with tons of emergent physical and metaphysical mechanics, handing the tools to the player to play how they want.
This game will be classed with Fallout 1 / 2 and Arcanum in future.

Pretty sure they meant that the dev's previous work (Prey and Dishonored etc) give them that good rep. Which I'd agree with.

It's also "free" on Game Pass.
Not with those graphics. The style must be an acquired taste.

Just how weird is it?
This game seems legit cool, looks similar to that other 'weird west setting' game Hard West.
