If I were to guess, Your box is probably slooow, infected, runs hot, crashes a lot and and uses a sketchy, free, iffy OS.
RGB would fix the above and allow you to game at frameS per second versus frame a second.![]()

When I built my current box, I went out of my way to find the parts I wanted in it without LEDs.
There is zero RGB crap in my box.

My waterpump sort of slowly pulses and shifts color and it looks kind of cool, so does my RAM. The rest of my case is dark and silent. Looks kind of cool because one side is plexi-glass, but yeah it's eyecandy and at least it has a modicum of taste, unlike a lot of shit out there. But yeah, if I can I avoid the "pretty" lights as much as I can when buying new components or parts.

I think the custom builds look impressive but not when its overdone and I really have no desire to go that route. The mechanical keyboard I recently purchased has blue lights, I think. That's about as far as I'll go. So lets grab all the parts, slap it all together, jam it in the case (no window), fire it up, hope & pray it doesn't blow up.Ladron3dfx wrote on Mar 9, 2022, 23:02:
What is with the fancy lights, when did all that change? Someone explain it to me. I'm trying to build a new PC and even the memory sticks have lights.![]()
Kiddos fuckin love ‘em. They think the more lights there are, the better. We sell a machine with a 5600g in it, no video card but a fuck ton of lights and kids go nuts for it.
