Spiral House announces PC Building Simulator 2, saying this sequel to the
surprise hit will launch later this year exclusively on the

Developed by veteran Liverpool, UK development team Spiral House, and published by Epic Games, PC Building Simulator 2 pushes the limits of virtual PC creation to new heights, rendering players’ dream machines in more detail than ever before. Launching with over 1200 officially-licensed parts from industry giants like AMD, Intel, NVIDIA and enthusiast brands like Thermal Grizzly, players will be able to customize and optimize their rigs to a new level. Oh - and there might be some more RGB.
Alongside a challenging new 30+ hour career mode, PC Building Simulator 2 brings improved graphical fidelity, a host of new features to deepen the PC building experience, and steps up the realism of hardware and software simulation.
For me, I don't care about their looks. I just want stability. Due to my disabilities, I can't do hardwares very well like their insides.

I have a tempered glass case with a steel frame. Full tower, liquid and air cooling systems, etc. Most of lighting I have is in the fans and its really subdued. I also have a LED strip along the bottom of the case so that I can see the board. Its color coordinated with whatever the fans are doing, which is usually just one solid color. I don't like the pattern flashing and multi color programs that these RGB setups can do. I just want to be able to see inside with a bit of style. Is it all a bit extra? Of course it is. I would never claim otherwise. I enjoy that part of the build though.

It probably gets hella dusty down there too. I've gone high and never looked back. I literally have my midtower on an upper shelf and it rarely gets any dust. I have to blow it out with the DataVac about once per year and there isn't much in there... When I had it on the floor, I blew it out once every quarter and plenty of dust would fly out. Definitely better to keep it higher than lower to avoid that dust build up.

RGB is one of the lamest trends in PC building. It's like, let's get hip and turn all this nerdy hardware into something you would find in a night club. I don't need my room glowing with all kinds of crap coming out of a box.
With that said, you can at least enjoy pretending to a build an expensive rig with this simulator, lol.

Glad I'm not the only one who finds a lightshow on their desk to be distasteful. Prefer PC's that are like a stealth bomber, quiet, dark, and get the job done. The market for those types of products is small in comparison though.

Kiddos fuckin love ‘em. They think the more lights there are, the better. We sell a machine with a 5600g in it, no video card but a fuck ton of lights and kids go nuts for it.

i cant even be bothered to put the side or blanking plates on mine. Temps are airflow is fine in the cupboard where the pc sits. I give it a clean out and get the dog fur out of the fans every 6 months or so.....

LOL I actually found it hard to get memory without that stupid shit, and all my lighting effects are off, except for the amd fan, because that doesn't appear to be an option
