accepting preorders of A Plague Tale: Requiem - Collector's Edition,
a deluxe version of the upcoming action/adventure sequel. This is for PC and
consoles, with the Windows version taking the form of a Steam key. It runs
USD$189.99, so it's aimed at customers confident they will enjoy the follow-up
to A Plague Tale: Requiem. It's also aimed at those with some desk space, a
willingness to dust, and possibly a turntable:
The highlight of the Collector's Edition is a gorgeous statue of Amicia and Hugo. Imagined and designed by the artistic team at Asobo Studio, this 21cm/8in-tall resin statue painted in vibrant colors portrays Amicia and Hugo in action, wearing their main outfits from A Plague Tale: Requiem.
Additionally, the Collector's Edition features: a bird feather metallic brooch inspired by the feathers Hugo wears in game, a 45 RPM vinyl of the game's soundtrack composed by Olivier Derivière, three amazing A4 lithographs of exclusive artwork from the game, and, last but not least, the alternative cover for the game's box exclusive to the Focus Entertainment Store!

A Plague Tale was my 2019 GOTY. Best game I have played in a long time. This statue is nothing compared to the steel or tin one from the first game. Still looking for that one on the Dutch version of Ebay.
Thanks mate! But from what I can tell the statue doesn't come cheaper than around 700 bucks sadly. I'll pay 150 for it max.

This reminds me, I need to go back to finish it. I was just at the part where you encounter your first rat swarm in the basement place and you need to use your torch to keep them back. Looked great graphically but I had other games going on at the same time and I eventually lost interest to go back into it. I think once I finish Arkham Knight, I'll give it another shot, lol.

Yes. Protecting or escorting Hugo is not a major element. The game does focus on stealth. You are a 15 year old girl with her little brother up against an army of soldiers so many times it is essential to stay in the shadows but it’s not really an escort game per se at all. The focus lies much more strongly on stealth and exploring the levels for resources to make your life in hiding easier.

I quite enjoyed the first one. It was one of a couple games that I played with a month trial from EA pass, the other was jedi fallen order when it first came out. Now that it's part of xbox ultimate PC game pass, I probably won't even have to buy the sequel.
No way am I paying $190 for it though. Maybe for a fallout collectors edition, but not this.

Bodoza, it's a unique game, I found it totally worthy.
You could get a Fling trainer or use C.E., then upgrade your sling, etc if you must ease your initial pain. It gets more action as you play on.
