You are a wanderer with the power to change the fate of The City. But your exceptional abilities come at a price. Haunted by memories you cannot decipher, you set out to learn the truth… and find yourself in a combat zone. Hone your skills, as to defeat your enemies and make allies, you’ll need both fists and wits. Unravel the dark secrets behind the wielders of power, choose sides and decide your destiny. But wherever your actions take you, there's one thing you can never forget—stay human.

First person melee combat with ugly weapons really turns me off this game. Melee combat is bad enough with cool looking shit in Vermintide 2.
I feel like if this game had guns or at least bows and things as a staple instead, I'd probably be into it.
There are arrows! Haven't found a bow yet, but been wandering around exploring and haven't even unlocked the factions or met Rosario yet.

Running well over 40-50fps on a 1080ti. Performance has been solid but a few issues.
A lot of cut and paste when it comes to safe houses/mini-settlements (not sure what exactly to call them).
Also a lot of chests on these roofs are stuck in walls. So you pick open a chest and can't get most of the stuff out because there is a wall right in the middle of the chest.
Some night time baddies like howlers just stand around and don't attack and can't be attacked.
And regular run of the mill zombies will die, fall to the ground, then stand up and not move.
You can NOT repair weapons. Which utterly sucks.
There is a co-op call for help system that you can help out or call for help. 9 out of 10 times you can not connect to anyone else.
Seems to be a 33.9MB patch on Steam now so will see what it does.
You can't even repair weapons now? Fucking Techland and their stupid fucking decisions! Looks like I'm waiting for a durability mod before I even consider playing.
When you upgrade weapons you repair their durability some. Higher quality weapons last a while and mods can extend their life. So, I can see upgraded weapons lasting quite a while.
Well ya play a guy who's traveled for 4 years as a Pilgrim (you are traveling with Spike from the first game) and you know no Parkour even though the game starts with it, and you have no idea how to do anything including repair weapons/gear? Just bad game design to remove it.
Starting to understand why the game was delayed for 5 years. After watching the E3 presentation, and what's in game, it looks like they had no idea what direction they wanted to take the game.
Have you played the game yet? Right in the prologue you get bitten and infected. You damn near turn before a dude slams something called a stabilizer in your gut -- medicine that kills most people. The following hour the game repeatedly shows how weak and fucked up you still are because of the infection. The game explains why you have to learn everything from scratch again ad nauseum!
Correct, but also their Parkour tree sucks ass too. Ya can't slide until ya put in 5 or 6 points into the tree. But still...repairing weapons?
Also you have a choice when ya upgrade weapons, more damage or more durability, ya don't get both.
Take what ya had from the first game and BUILD on it. It's like they had a jigsaw puzzle of the first game (skills and abilities), drop it, kicked a few pieces under the furniture and then dumped glue on the pile and served it up.

FREE Fling trainers, since years ! He is your friend !
And if you play online, first launch solo, run trainer, upgrade weapons to make them better and more durable, close trainer, then go online.
I understand not every person feels comfortable learning Cheat Engine to change any and all games, but Fling trainers are a rich staple resource for worldly gamers

Never liked the day/night cycle where you had to deal with the over powered mutants in the first. Gave up before I heard you get more powerful than them. Dead Island on the other hand I loved. Probably the environment just really reeled me in but it was done real well. I'm still keeping hopes for a Dead Island 2.
I might look into this game once I eventually upgrade. I think at this point, my 1070 has had enough with next gen games, lol. That and I'm ruining the experience if I don't have all their bells and whistles.
The day/night cycle was one of my favorite features of the first game haha
