EOL for Watch Dogs: Legion

An update from the development team on the Ubisoft Website has an update on Watch Dogs: Legion. This expresses pride in the project, but also announces it will receive no additional updates going forward. Despite this end-of-life announcement, players will still be able to enjoy new reward tracks in the open-world hacking game going forward:
TU 5.6 was our final update for Watch Dogs: Legion. However, you can look forward to reward tracks in the Online Mode, containing both new and returning rewards. The current season 4 Rebels track, containing 80 ranks, will run until January 22, 2022, followed by Season 5 Stripes. After that, Seasons 3-5 will continue to cycle and return to the game, giving you the opportunity to acquire rewards you might have missed out on in the past. Some rewards to look forward to is a modified version of Aiden Pearce's jacket, and Jackson's mask and clothing set.

I wrecked it during the free weekend to completion and like most have said, it just gets pretty repetitive quick. The idea of acquiring unique members was interesting, but in execution it is kind of hilarious the construction worker ends up as one of the most useful characters. There were so many other character attributes that made no sense like being able to start a riot, yet there is no where reasonable to ever start a riot.
I cannot relate to anyone beating this game and being all; yeah give me more of that in online mode for multiple "seasons"

There is a great foundation in Legion, but overall was a decent game but never evolved past that.

I unlocked all the areas but just never finished it. It just became so god awful boring and generic.

I unlocked most areas in the game but never finished it. the problem is that it is just boring. You can be anybody but they are not particularly special or interesting. They tried some new stuff so good for them. It just did not work out well. The multiplayer, hard no.

I played half the campaign during the free weekend and got a strong sense the game had planned to do more with individual npcs and scaled way back. With disappointing sales I doubt we'll ever get to see the game the devs originally envisioned.

I had not played the prior Watch Dogs releases and I went into this expecting it to be Division 2 in a different setting. And it kinda was, but I just never could get into it like I did Division 2. Division 2 was very immersive for me. This game was kinda like GTA in London for me, and I don't like GTA.
I pwnz j00!
