Rainbow Six Extraction Released [Jan 20, 2022, 1:21 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments

Ubisoft Website declares that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction is
now available for PC and consoles, offering the chance to take on a mutating
alien parasite in this tactical co-op shooter. Windows gamers can extract a copy
from the
Epic
Games Store or the
Ubisoft
Store, and can also be played through the
PC Game Pass, Luna, and Stadia. An
article on the NVIDIA Website outlines the game's support for NVIDIA DLSS
and Reflex. There's no official launch trailer, but there are tons of videos on
the
Ubisoft YouTube, such as the recent
Lore Gameplay Trailer.

Extraction stars a select line-up of Operators from Rainbow Six Siege who have been reworked with new abilities and attributes to help them better take on the Archaean parasite. The 13 different mission types across 12 containment zones pose an ever-shifting challenge, as players face 13 enemy archetypes and a host of mutations that make each incursion unpredictable. Team up with up to two other players, or take on solo missions as you level up your Operators’ loadouts and abilities, and progress to unlock new REACT tech gadgets, cosmetic customization items, and more.

Ok, now that I have a few hours in, I think this game is worth 40 Euro, and I am happy as an American that it cost less. I am pretty sure the DLC and micro transactions will exceed $50,000.00 for this shit. Probblay some NFT's that would make you rich if you bought them, but won't if you did. The asset flip potential is limitless now that we entered into some sci-fi shit.
also, why do we hate on UBI so much. They are consistent AF and, while there are problems, they deliver on the regular.
DLC maybe, but all the stuff in the store is 100% cosmetic at the moment. Skins only.

I've only been playing single player (because I'm anti-social and hate people) but thus far I've been enjoying it quite a lot. I dig the rescue mechanic, and the slower paced style. Less endless hordes of enemies and more, oh shit there's two of them, better be careful here.

Looks like its free if you have gamepass, just have to link your gamepass to Ubi and it shows up there.
I played it a bit late last night/early morning. I didn't play past the tutorial so I don't have much to add other than it seems very well optimized. I'll have to find out if it's fun tonight.
