Halo Infinite Economy Changes Next Week

343 Industry unveiled plans this week to address gameplay problems in Halo Infinite with cheating, Big Team Battle mode, and more in a patch that's coming down the road. Now a series of tweets from Jerry Hook announce as soon as next week changes will also come to the in-game economy for the first-person shooter:
We’ve been monitoring the discussions on the Shop, bundles, and pricing closely since launch. Using data and community feedback, we’re going to begin rolling out changes to how we package and price items in @Halo Infinite – and it all starts next week.

Starting Tuesday, the Shop experience will vary week-to-week. We are focused on reducing pricing across the board, providing stronger values in our bundles, starting to put individual items outside of bundles, and more.

We will be trying new things throughout the rest of the season so that we can continue to learn and improve for the future. Please keep the feedback coming during this process and I hope to see you all next week for the Cyber Showdown event!

"Oh no, I have to pay for cosmetics in a free to play game ! Also I need to complain about it, because cosmetics are really important to me and affect my enjoyment of said free to play game".

I honestly can't believe there are people entitled like that... is this an American thing ?

So it's called "Halo Infinite" because in theory you can spend infinite dollars?

On one hand, that's a lot of money.

On the other... it's just vanity, and the game is free.

Is this the ol' "We'll start with high prices, then reduce them so we seem like we're listening.. when we intended this price all along." schtick? I've seen it before...

It does sound ludicrous though. Reminds me of Gears 5. They just keep pushing it and pushing it until it's too much.

I watched the Angry Joe review about the monetization in this game, and it was an eye opener. 15 dollars to buy color mod for a weapon. and that same color mod does not carry across to other items in the game its locked down to a few of the same type items.

That is just absurd pricing. I really hope no one is buying this crap.
