we do the same with all our streaming. Sub when there is something, cancel afterwards. We probably sub each service around 6 months in the year.
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

My wife is the Netflix watcher, I am going to switch the bill to her.

edit: Also, fuck Tim Allen.
Be careful doing that or you may be left doing what you said in the edit if she decides to cut you off. 🤣
The price increase is nominal, $24/year max, but it’s still a price increase.💸

Just canceled Netflix the other day. Didn't even know they were raising rates, but we just didn't watch it enough to justify the price. I think we both watch more Disney Plus and HBO Max than Netflix, and now both of those are cheaper than Netflix.

Yeah, not sure why Netflix is still the most popular streaming service. Their content hasn't been good for years. They have the same crappy movies on rotating cycles, and some of their best series were canceled way too prematurely. After binging a season of their few good series, there's nothing left to watch

That's the thing.... if you're still playing catch up on series it's fine. Hell I'm still playing catch up on the Suprano's

Squid game! Or something.

I have been a subscriber to Netflix six separate times over the years. The last time was for three months in 2020. The last time of any significance was in 2014/2015 when in 16 months I watched 170 movies (yes, I keep track). They occasionally have stuff I'd like to see, like right now I'd like to see "The Unforgiveable", but they just don't have enough to justify the subscription. Especially when I have access to most of the "standard" movie channels (HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, etc.).

Wonder if Tim Allen will be able to keep his trap shut long enough for this to actually air.
