Via the EO Website and other related websites and social media accounts, EO and numerous affiliated individuals and resellers sell cheats for numerous COD Games, including without limitation Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), Call of Duty World War II, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III; Call of Duty Black Ops, Call of Duty Black Ops II, and Call of Duty Black Ops III (collectively, the “Cheating Software”). EO also claims to be developing new cheating software for the popular multiplayer game Overwatch, which is owned and published by Activision’s affiliate, Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. The Cheating Software enables players to manipulate the COD Games to their personal advantage, such as by automatically aiming weapons, revealing the locations of opponents, and allowing the player to see information that is not normally available to players because it would give them an unfair advantage within the game.

When you make an account for (almost) any online multiplayer game, you have to accept the Terms of Service (along with the EULA for installing the game in the first place). The ToS is considered a legal contract and every ToS I've seen for an online game has strictly prohibited any form of cheating.
This needs to get thrown out unless Acti-bastards can show significant financial loss due to the cheating which is highly doubtful.
Please show me a law in any country that outlaws cheating in privately organized games. Since when does government at any level have any concern about how people play games published by fat corporations, other than ones where gambling involving real money is concerned?

So if you cheat in a game of softball sponsored by some fat cat corporation, thier lawyers can twist the law to make that punishable by the state?

Start suing people that use them too and watch this nonsense come to a rapid end.
That's as impracticable as prosecuting individuals leeching already uploaded pirated games, movies, etc, man.
Just not feasible.
You don't need to sue them all. Just start bankrupting people here and there and it'll dry up to a trickle. Are you going to cheat in a game if you possibly stand to become broke and homeless by doing so?
I'm just imagining you addressing this question to some dumb ass kid...

So Ricochet isn't all it's cracked up to be to stop the cheaters?
Yeah I don't know what people including Craptivision were thinking. Releasing a v1.0 "anticheat" first in the Asian market made it quite easy for those folks to develop workarounds just in time for Ricochet's release in North America and elsewhere.

The rampant online cheating makes me glad I'm not into modern competitive FPS games. This is simply an issue I haven't had to deal with since the late '90s when I occasionally ran into aim bots in the Quake games. Sucks for those that play these games. Maybe get better taste in games? I'm kidding!

I’m actually fine with this. Anything to put pressure on these low life cheaters which is ruining online gaming.
