So they really aren't generating much revenue any longer. Getting a few mil from Epic gives the company some free cash as well as free publicity. A lot of these games will see their next version come out at some point.
I guess I am just questioning why games that have taken huge teams and many man hours to make are being given away for free. On EGS.. What's the motive here? Is it to get a foothold in a market dominated by Steam or is there another motive? Games are like toothpaste, once played you usually move on. I am just suspicious of the whole business model. LOL. It doesn't make sense, until one-day it does.![]()

To postulate, terms and conditions can be changed at the whims of a company. We don't own the games we get for free, we are only tenants. Should the terms change, the tenants can only abide by any new laws imposed or move on. Hooked on the library? That could become a thing. Only time will tell.![]()

Snagged Pathfinder. Before RedEye, of course.
I forgot. So it doesn't count.![]()

Has there ever been a game you did not snatch, and if so, why? Inquiring minds want to know. It's for science!™![]()
