Remnant: From the Ashes is now available for free on the
Epic
Games Store to anyone who claims a copy of the co-op action/RPG before
tomorrow at 11:00 am EST. At that time a new giveaway will take its place, as
Epic is once again offering everyone a free game every day for the holiday
season. The listing does include this warning: "Cloud saves are not enabled on
Epic. Backing up saves manually is recommended." Here's more on the
game:
Remnant: From the Ashes is a third-person survival action shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by monstrous creatures. As one of the last remnants of humanity, you’ll set out alone or alongside up to two other players to face down hordes of deadly enemies and epic bosses, and try to carve a foothold, rebuild, and then retake what was lost.
The world has been thrown into chaos by an ancient evil from another dimension. Humanity is struggling to survive, but they possess the technology to open portals to other realms and alternate realities. They must travel through these portals to uncover the mystery of where the evil came from, scavenge resources to stay alive, and fight back to carve out a foothold for mankind to rebuild...

This is getting old and tiresome. Not the part about BoP snuhsnuhsnagging a freebie before me, but i had to work on a customer and his wife's ipads and iphones on a Saturday. Who do these old folks think they are.

Unrelatedly, the game is pretty good, very decent replayability and good core gameloop and gamplay.

Not in my experience. Epic helped me save money. I probably would have bought the game on a Steam sale sooner or later but thanks to the EGS free demo I figured out it is drab looking repetitive garbage.

I played through this and It was ok. Kind of too consolish for me
