Ubisoft Unveils NFTs [Dec 07, 2021, 8:30 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
Shortly after revealing plans
to explore the role blockchain technology can play in games, Ubisoft unveils
Ubisoft Quartz, a place to
acquire Ubisoft NFTs called Digits. To start, digits are only available for
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint players, and the first three are being handed out for

None of this seems like it's beneficial to customers at all.
Horse armor DLC can't be resold by the end user, nor is it artificially scarce and thus potentially much more valuable. I also like that they're limiting them to one per account, but on the other hand, they do seem intent on putting a bunch of restrictions on each player's "eligibility." Which according to the FAQ determines whether you can acquire a particular NFT directly from Ubisoft, as well as whether or not you're able to buy, sell, or trade it. I.e. the weapon skin only requires you reach level 5 in-game, but the pants require 100 hours total playtime and the helmet 600 hours...
