The problem and source of the DDOS attacks is that the servers are insecure as currently anyone can crash any instance spawned on Respawns virtual server instances and this leads to a total server crash, EVERY SINGLE TIME - the DDOS attacks started because Respawn refused to fix it and the game was sold when it was unplayable (not just a bit, but totally unplayable as bots trigger these crashes 100s of times per minute)
The fact Respawn doesn't even WANT to fix this is astounding given that they indeed
sold the game until now. But whatever.. let them go down with Apex Legends. Another good developer lost to the void.
Also the fix is trivial.. well, if they had the source code still...
