Cool, I am not nearly as hyped as I was before all of their development issues, but hopefully something fun to play still exists in this game. Hopefully they backed off from their weapon degradation fetish, but if not, as has been said below, mods.

Sorry, brain damaged after forced hours long Steam browsing as the sale is ending, but the catch is worthy.

The Dead Island precise jump height modifying was something I configured, as I recall.
As for Dying Light, use the Fling trainer, *only get them from his site (safe), even so choose standalones exes and not the auto updating versions, for added security*.

Man, I hope this is a good game. Seems like there's been a long dry spell for the kind of games I like, and this one is something I've been looking forward to for a few years now. It may be a pipe dream, but I'm hoping it's a LOT more bug free on release than it's predecessor.

Also after the last year of crappy releases of games that I thought would be great, I "HOPE" this game launches decently, but not holding my breath until reviews come in.

I absolutely loved the first game! I hope that this is more of the same with a few updates but I am afraid they tried to revolutionize ARPG genre with this game and had therefore too many problems. Hopefully, they remembered what made the first game so entertaining and kept that.
And I loved the game as long as it was in the city - the expansion about farm life and zombies was not so great IMO.

For a 3 month delay, sounds like it is gold-ish, not gold. Unless they have to make distribution media. Still seems long though.

Except DL1 wasn't that good. The parkour stuff was alright but the underlying game there wasn't that good. The gear system and repairing them got tedious. I'll be waiting for the Platinum Year 1 Gold Ultimate Edition, preferrably on GoG.

Though perhaps I'm still bitter over having to waste 45 mins running the tutorial all so I could play co-op with a buddy and having hardware issues with it on top of that. Game didn't like my AMD hardware at the time IIRC.

It's gold but we won't be playing it until February? Bummer. Looking forward to it though. February is gonna be busy with this and Horizon Forbidden West coming two weeks after.

I've got to agree, despite the numerous flaws in Dying Light it is a pretty solid zombie game, and Coop!
It did sound like they paid attention to customer complaints especially in regards to building a better story.
It's too bad avolone couldn't keep it in his pants without consent.
