I'm really interested in Zombie Army 4 but all that dlc turns me off. Even on sale it is too much for the complete game. Ah well, I can wait.

I grabbed Zombie Army Trilogy during the Steam Halloween sale and I'm really enjoying it. It's got a fun B grade horror feel to it (in a good way).
The soundtrack for episode 1, (and a little in ep 2) has a John Carpenter'y vibe that I love and the WWII demolished Germany setting is equally atmospheric.
I'm playing solo on Sniper Elite difficulty and it is hard sometimes but manageable.. so far.
I'm approaching the final levels and things can get a bit overwrought.

As a coop game it must shine.

I picked up Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider for a combined $8.94 (or so). Good value - they will play well on my incoming Steam Deck (I hope). Also for the Deck - FFXV and maybe RDR2 (and maybe Cyberpunk if it will actually run). Cthulhu

I have both Legends of Grimrock only because they reminded me of the OG Dungeon Master on the Atari ST. Decent games if grid based adventuring and dungeon spelunking is your thing.

I liked the games, but I hated the fact they involved "square dancing" around your foes, constantly running from them and dodging even if you had two tanks up front. Tanks in those games just could not take a hit no matter how you built them.

The codes have all been used, of course the grabbers didn't bother to post here about it.

For those who haven't tried, Gunfire Reborn is a fantastic co-op roguelike fps game that finally hit 1.0 release after being on EA for a while. I don't particularly enjoy it solo (the benefit of co-op is that you can resurrect each other while solo you just die -> game over).
Me and my friend have clocked in 120+ hours in it so far.
Borderlands 3 is also great for co-op (ignoring how people feel about Randy Pitchford), we have 700+ hours on it..

There's a bunch of things sitting on my wishlist that I keep eyeballing, but considering I'm pretty sloppy at playing things I already own, I feel a bit like holding back on spending

Thanks Jonjonz, got Defense Grid 2.
Though not the DLC as it's just history text, no action at all.

If you enjoy Grimrocks, consider The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians, Operencia, M&M X Legacy, Vaporum.

Hey, just saw that you can grab "Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide" for free on fanatical:
https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/warhammer-end-times-vermintide

I also grabbed the Mystery Game Bundle and the Birthday Bundle.

I already had some of the games so here are the Steam keys, if anyone wants them:

American Fugitive
PC8HQ-WVFP6-FAGYI
9RKVL-BYCTY-LX88X

Tomb Raider Anniversary
YMCT0-0X4VW-VVLCZ

Just leave a quick message so others know the keys are gone.

Cheers

Agree with you
Had AC freebies, only bought AC 1, 2 & Unity before.
Today got Odyssey and *Black Flag*, heh
( both long ogled, 2 of my 4 main targets today -plus BL 3 & DSPTD Remaster- of 33 buying spree ).

Did you really play Odyssey ? It has an 89% score by 99000 gamers.

Not yet but I bought it on sale a while ago and, well, one day... *sigh*

I did not mean to say Odyssey is a bad game. What I meant with regard to the ACO Ultimate Edition is: There must have been a day a few years ago when the UbiSoft product management team came up with ideas for the editions of the game. They must have realized that it would be bold to ask $120 (original price of the Ultimate Edition) for the game, the season pass and... what else? So they decided to throw in AC III Remastered and Liberation to make it look fatter. It's almost as if Ubi felt guilty but not guilty enough to give away a much better game like Black Flag .

Oops, thanks for the heads-up RogueSix, how very dumb of me to ignore that, sigh.

Yes, I detailed the low score of the 2 free games.
Doesn't deter me, I enjoy them so much.

Rare the game that doesn't entertain me, even the popularly slighted ones: in some 2150 Steam games only a handful of the played disappointed me. May help that I delight in hacking them to bits.

Got this killer hidden bundle, not advertised :

If you buy,

- Assassin's Creed Odyssey Ultimate Edition 75% off

automatically get totally FREE :
- Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered
- Assassin's Creed Liberation

The cost of both free games is higher than the cost of the Odyssey Ultimate Edition.
Yes, the review score of both games hovers at some 55%, but even so, crazy !

LOL, that's not a "hidden killer bundle" but simply the content of AssCreed Odyssey Ultimate as it has always been! It has always included the (weak) AssCreed III Remaster and the Liberation DLC. It should tell you a lot about both, AssCreed III and also about the Ultimate edition of Odyssey that they felt the need to add all this stuff to the so called "Ultimate" edition.
