This will be controversial, and someone will try to claim the opposite of me (like when I tongue-in-cheek called those doing this white knights), but there's a certain contingent of posters here that will rush to defend any white man accused of doing anything bad to non-white men, unless it's on video.

What boggles the mind is that anyone would defend him.

Are you implying his behavior is acceptable? You guys who lean right really need to pause, take a breath, think about the situation, and then speak. This taking the opposite position stuff without ever looking at the situation is tiresome. It has been for a long time now...
The gaming activists/wokies would love to take down a CEO like this, and it doesn't matter if he is guilty or innocent.

That news is two days old and has been posted here a couple of times.

He failed to control things at his company, so the employees, the board, the stockholders are well within their rights to try and oust him. He fucked up, and it's his responsibility. You're obviously a Republican using terms like "wokies." JFC, whatever happened to "personal responsibility." If he can't handle the position, he should resign already.

RedEye9 wrote on Nov 18, 2021, 20:18:A shrug pretty much sums it up for me. Yeah, he's not a good guy. There are far too many of them and seemingly more than you would expect/hope at the top of corporate ladders. But I'm not sure it really matters much if he stays or goes. He'll still be a dick, he'll still be a multi-million, and I wouldn't expect the company to make a U-turn on putting out new games either way. Even if he leaves I'd predict he has another job before long.
....He won't leave on his own and it looks like they won't make him leave. But as pressure continues to mount we'll just have to wait and see.
shrug?

On the same subject, Activision's board of directors has come out in favor of Kotick, declaring that it: "remains confident that Bobby Kotick appropriately addressed workplace issues brought to his attention."
