GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Still Unavailable on PC

The Rockstar Support Twitter remains surprisingly silent in light of how Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition remains unavailable to play or purchase for PC gamers. This is three days after it was "temporarily" taken offline for maintenance, which has reportedly been met with patience and understanding. There is a little more to know about the failed launch of the remastered RPG anthology though. Amid rising customer dissatisfaction, VG247 reports that demands for refunds are rolling in. Similarly, VGC notes that the review bombing has begun in earnest, and the game's user score on Metacritic is currently 0.6, just barely edging out John Blutarsky's GPA. And since when it rains, it pours, a report on Kotaku notes that Take-Two occupied some of its time during the game's launch to send out additional DMCA notices to remove more GTA mods and fan projects. Here's an interview with some GTA modders who no longer seem interested in doing unpaid work for the benefit of Rockstar and Take-Two with all that's gone on.
