I hate to break it to you guys, but the population of the earth grows over time, so the newer stuff is more popular and thus makes more money. Probably 0.1% of current gamers have heard of Morrowind.

It will break a lot of the nearly decade worth of mods that have been released on PC - said mods at this point likely not to get patched for this version as the modders have moved on or whatever. A lot of the mods require the use of other mods to work - etc.
I thought the Special Edition was ridiculous at the time (it worked out in the end); but this is awful.
Yeah, they should have remastered Morrowind.
