Rockstar Games announces the release of
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy –
The Definitive Edition, the updated bundle of
Grand Theft Auto III,
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Here's word on where and when to find this: "Available directly from the
PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop, and the Rockstar Games
Launcher, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will also
release physically for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and
PlayStation 4 on December 7 — and will be coming to iOS and Android in the first
half of 2022." A couple of notes: An
article from NVIDIA describing how these games benefit from DLSS support on
RTX graphics cards. Also there's
word on IGN on cheats that have been removed for "technical reasons" and
PC Gamer details over 40 songs missing from in-game radio stations. Here are
trailers showing the improvements on
San Andreas,
Vice City,
and
Grand Theft Auto III.
Here's the quick explanation:
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The
Definitive Edition features across-the-board enhancements such as GTAV-inspired
modern controls, graphical and environmental upgrades including higher
