If true, it means they'd require/recommend pairing it with a 1000+ watt power supply, which is ridiculous. It would force the majority of users to also upgrade that as well, which is quite expensive.
It is very absurd, considering that they're supposed to be shrinking from the Samsung 8nm process (equivalent to TSMC's 10nm) down to TSMC 5nm... Where the hell did that efficiency increase go if they have to double the TDP in order to double performance?
