However, the news that Oneal is stepping down as Blizzard co-leader just three months after taking the role has "killed" any morale boost from last week's concessions, according to that employee. Oneal and Mike Ybarra replaced former Blizzard boss J Allen Brack, who exited in August in the aftermath of the California lawsuit. With Oneal's resignation, Ybarra is now Blizzard's sole leader.
For some, Oneal's leadership was one of the best reasons they had to believe in a better future for Blizzard. They're now left wondering why Oneal would choose to leave so quickly, leading to speculation that something isn't being said.

I did purchase Diablo 2 Resurrected and have been having a blast with it.
Wow, someone who never played D2. That's rare.

Think about that. Yeah, no, the games you're thinking about weren't good. They were released, but not good. Overwatch was the last game I bought and I regret buying that.
Overwatch was good, whether you liked the game or not. They need to get their shit together, but I don't think you just get to skip any title that hurts the narrative you want to build.

Surprised it took this long for her to blow town. Blizzard is done and all that's left is putting up the tombstone.

Yeah, because sex scandals and bad HR management has brought down Billion dollar companies before. I'm sure that all the millions of idiotic manchildren will all refuse to buy Diablo4 and Overwatch 2 as a result of this. /s
Yeah sucks. I hate to support a terrible company but I want Diablo 4! lol. What to do? Perhaps I can pray that it sucks and gets terrible reviews. Then save myself from having to give Blizzard another dollar. On that note however, I am part of the problem. I did purchase Diablo 2 Resurrected and have been having a blast with it. Perhaps I can just say, I'm supporting the memory of Blizzard North?

Anyone remember the last game Blizzard released that was any good???
Think about that. Yeah, no, the games you're thinking about weren't good. They were released, but not good. Overwatch was the last game I bought and I regret buying that. Zero chance I buy Diablo IV, despite it being one of my favorite franchises of all time. Still hurting from the colossal failure that Diablo 3 was and is. Would have loved to buy D2R but it was easy to see the smoke of the fire there. I wouldn't give Blizzard another dollar until they release at least two FANTASTIC games back to back with no server issues. And THEN and ONLY then, will I think about buying the game that follows those. No chance they save this sinking ship. No matter how much money they throw at it.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. At least you're not being a hypocrite about it. I'm having fun with D2Resurrected too. It's a blast. No wonder people were having some high hopes for Blizz, since from what I've read both Oneal and others from Vicarious visions were tapped for some leadership roles at Blizzard. In any case, we are all fooling ourselves into thinking we know even 5% of what is going on over there, of the real reasons for any of these people are leaving. For all we know, she left for purely selfish reasons too. Speculating about all of this is fun maybe for like 5 seconds, but if you think about it, no one really gives a shit. Not really.
