New NVIDIA Drivers and DLSS Support

NVIDIA now offers new version 496.13 WHQL-certified GeForce drivers for running NVIDIA graphics cards under Windows. These are the game-ready drivers for Back 4 Blood, Crysis Remastered Trilogy, and The Riftbreaker. They also provide support for NVIDIA DLSS in Baldur's Gate 3, Chivalry 2, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Sword and Fairy 7, as outlined in this post. Here's more on DLSS proliferation:
With 10 more DLSS games coming this October, NVIDIA DLSS is now accelerating performance with uncompromised image quality in 120 games and apps, including today’s release of Back 4 Blood. This October also sees the launch of NVIDIA DLSS in Baldur’s Gate 3, Chivalry 2, Crysis Remastered Trilogy, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Sword and Fairy 7, and Swords of Legends Online. And it’s available now in recently released titles Alan Wake Remastered and F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch.

Driver feedback is funny and impossible to measure from reading it. I just go with my extensive gaming history as the guide. Obviously if your game gets DLSS added, that's at least an eyebrow raiser.

Beyond that, at a leading game of today, the Nvidia Update Driver thread. Did anyone update to the new drive? You literally get every possibility thrown at you in about as few of posts as possible.

1. Yes works great, notice a FPS bump.
2. Killed my game, getting half the frames.
3. No difference (this is what I almost always see)
4. Crashed system had to roll back.
5. My cards overheating now.
6. Fixed one game that wouldn't start with the last driver.
7. Broke the game I've been playing well with the last driver.
8. GFE changed my graphic settings with game optimization and now it runs like shit.

We're not 10 posts deep and I just read all of that. What do I conclude?
Almost certain I'm going to get #3 and PC experiences are totally individual.
Other documented problems with the newest Nvidia driver.
8. Girlfriend left me.
9. A dog ate my homework.
10. Car is low on oil.

DLSS 2.0 seems better than ever before. I remember the open beta of B4B running kinda shit. Now with DLSS it runs buttery smooth not going below 120fps on my 3070 and looking great.

I hope they implement DLSS 2.0 in FC6. The performance couldve been so much better if it wasnt for that fucking AMD deal.
