I enjoyed the Riddick movies along with Pitch Black, but Vin Diesel is what, 60 now? I'm not sure he's able to get into Riddick shape anymore.

*EDIT* Whoops, spoke too soon, apparently he's currently making a film called "Muscle," so he's most likely on a steroid/HGH cycle as we speak. I expect a shredded, grizzled Riddick.

Yeah, cool stuff. I was in the middle of my bowling phase when reactive resins came out. It really changed things. There was a reason I was willing to drive 110 miles into Chicago to buy and get my bowling balls drilled. There was a guy who actually owned a store (for decades) dedicated to only bowling gear -- the friend who told me about it referred to the owner as "The Guru" and he lived up to the name.

Anyone have a particular brand or type of coffee they prefer? I generally drink Don Pablo - off Amazon, which is a "Medium-Dark roast - Whole bean Arabica coffee". At Xmas I'll buy me ma, and myself, some Kona coffee.

@SMA, Watched E01 of The Terror. Good stuff, going to continue. Master and Commander is one of my favorite movies, and although this tells a very different story, it has a similar vibe. I forgot who Tobias Mendez was until I saw his face, he was great in Outlander playing opposite characters.

@Mr. Tact, you mentioned you enjoyed Farscape in the B5 conversation yesterday, and I've never seen it so you've convinced me to start watching. Thanks.

Swimming With Hawaii's Spinner Dolphins Is Banned To Protect The Animals.

The problem here isn't that people swim with the dolphins, which I've done many times from shore. It's that boats, canoes, paddleboards, etc. chase them around. If you swim out, they'll come to you if they're of a mind to. If they're not, you'll never catch them, because dolphins.

Yeah, PB and the Riddick films are great fun action sci-fi. Great world building and fun stories, esp. Chronicles. And Butcher Bay is one of the best movie tie-in games made. I think Vin Diesel's nerd side helps a lot for these properties. Not just a gig for him.

So, I finished watching Midnight Mass last night and, enh, no great shakes - or even good ones IMO. Drags way too much and far too much focus on extraneous minutia. Concept wasn't very good overall either.

I recommend coffee drinkers avoid consuming the drink until an hour after waking up. Allow your body to naturally complete it's waking process. If you feel like shit before your first cup, your body is dependant. Wait an hour and try to decrease the dosage too. Week by week, a little less. It's NOT ok to be abusing caffine, it's NOT a badge of honor, there are consequences.
