Well Steam, they're trying! Epic Games Store may have given away Metro: Last Light Redux or the likes of Jurassic World Evolution, but damn it, who knew about Banana Hell until this announcement? That's what I thought! If anything, Steam is getting the word out there for games hidden into that deep darkness. Consider them the 1%. LET THEM HAVE LIGHT! Thank you Steam!
Am I? Xero wrote, "Well Steam, they're trying" and "Steam is getting the word out there for games hidden into that deep darkness" and "Thank you Steam!"
1. Valve hasn't paid the publisher to make this a freebie, nor have they promoted this freebie anywhere on Steam or through press releases.
2. The publisher is the one that made the game free.
3. The news of the freebie came courtesy of Ant.
If Xero is referring to "Steam" as a collective of various games so that saying "Steam" really means the game and publisher, okay, I get it. But it is a bit of a stretch to praise Steam when Valve had nothing to do with it.This comment was edited on Sep 27, 2021, 20:00.
