I only wish that the "Candyman"rebootdirect sequel to the first movie had done the same thing.- At this point, Windows is the OS equivalent of Stockholm Syndrome. -

Christ, what utter fucking trash. It shits all over the entire point of the original to deliver a "message". If someone wants to make a movie about racial injustice, please do, but don't try and tie it to a well known horror icon.

Random recommendation: If you like crime dramas try "Mare of Easttown". Binged it yesterday and I think it lived up to the good reviews it has gotten. Not too long at seven 1-hr episodes. They are apparently considering a second season if they can find a good story.
Benzer wrote on Sep 17, 2021, 14:20:You're not wrong. People hike the other, non-developed ridgelines often, against common sense. This guy died up on Olomana Trail after falling 400 feet. And this woman died hiking Crouching Lion after falling 200 feet. So even if removed, people would likely try to reach that peak on the same trail. That said, there's a movement to try and preserve the stairs and reopen them. I've heard the view is to die for.
Headline five years from now:
"10 million dollars wasted on Haiku Stair removal, as even more people hike the path without stairs, generating more injuries and more airlifts."

You liked Mare of Easttown? I couldn't make it through the first episode... too slow, people were too annoying. It seemed well done but maybe not my cup of tea.
