Aren't they though BoP? While yes Total War: Warhammer has been their dominant game in the last several years, they have other 'non IP' games they've released. Total War Saga: Troy (though I understand it's a bit more fantastical than other 'historical' TW games), and Total War: Three Kingdoms was a pretty big hit as well.
I'd say "sorta" in regards to Troy and Three Kingdoms. They're still more fantasy oriented than Rome, Medieval, or Empire.
I'd love to see a Civil War era TW with the same gameloop as Empire with the whole of the contiguous US as the map. Pretty much anything devoid of fantasy or WW2. WW1 might be interesting, though.
