Development of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Remake is led by a newly created team composed of industry veterans at developer and publisher Aspyr, working in close collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games have worked together in recent years to bring multiple classic Star Wars titles to modern platforms, including the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The game will be published on PS5 by SIE, while the PC version of the game will be published by Aspyr.

So i never played this game when it came out.. I tried to play it recently and after about 20 hours I was bored out of my mind.
It's skyrim all over again.
Yep reminds me of BioShock and Mario 2, just Skyrim all over again.

- Kotor 2: LucasArts rushed Obsidian and the last part and ending is rather abrupt.
But most of the game and the character deep interactions and choices where on another level.
Totally worthy game though.
Nexus modded, with restored cut content, it gets fleshed out better.
Like RogueSix said, Kreia character rocked.
Kreia's character, her analysis of the Jedi/Sith and the overall philosophy of her discourse is legendary.
Numerous papers have been written about this, and they're fascinating.
It would certainly be worth of a remake too.

She said in an interview that players engaging in virtual sexual assaults in GTA online are deplorable and should be banned from the servers. I mean, who cares? She's entitled to her opinion.
Sam Magg's is not. And they're the one who's going to be doing writing on this. For those that don't remember, she's the one who claimed she was "raped" in GTA5, while falling up the ladder of failure while destroying everything she touched to the point that companies folded.

Here's to hoping they don't make the gameplay like Fallen Order...
RPG, real-time with pauses, that would be ideal.
Not holding my breath tho.

This game has the best twist in any story ever made, period. "I see dead people" is a fucking joke compared to this twist. It's one I didn't see coming, and it knocked me off my feet.
The above is a problem in case of a remake. All of us except for the new generation know about this twist. Without that twist, KOTOR is much like KOTOR 2: A good game, but not even remotely as legendary as the first -- and even a bit forgettable.
I called the big twist literally within minutes of the game starting, after it was revealed that the player character has (conveniently) lost their memory, so when twist came later in the game I was like "geez... finally". I think it didn't help that I had heard about some kind of "big twist" beforehand so I knew to expect something, otherwise I may not have figured it out. Apart from that, I don't remember the game much except that there was some kind of psycho droid that I found entertaining.

I completely passed this game over because it looks and plays so dated, so I will be anticipating a modernized version of it. I am hoping it will be on pc and only mentions ps5 because it is a sony trailer.
Passed it over when? When it came out? It's probably the best Star Wars RPG, and one of the better Star Wars games ever made. You need to play it. I will bet hard currency that the remake ends up being dumbed down console trash.
