So TikTok has overtooken YouTube. Well that explains all the greasy puddles of IQ juice I saw on the floor at KMart in the Brawndo isle.
They really need to put whoever is in charge of AriZona iced tea in control of inflation...

Wow, I knew El Salvador was in serious trouble but I can't wait to see this Gong Show unfold and ultimately implode.

Heh I was amused as well when a TikTok TV commercial was trying to convince me TikTok was a great place for DIY tutorials. Younger folks have more time to waste, is just how it is. Is also why the super young kid stuff is "top rated"; since they'll watch the same thing like 20+ times and still have a good time.

Notably in the article though:
"App users in the UK and US are spending more time on TikTok than on YouTube, a new report suggests."
"YouTube still leads TikTok in overall time spent, including in the UK," explained Jamie MacEwan, from Enders Analysis."
Ummm k we ever gonna clarify if that means running as a background app or what?

I am never going to understand why people keep trying to use these cryptocoins as actual currency... when the value fluctuates that much, it's simply not valid to use as a day to day currency, let alone a way to pay workers. How fucking pointless does work become if your pay can lose 50% of it's value in an hour? Scammers will get rich off this, people with fewer financial resources will suffer.

That's ignoring how energy intensive and SLOW Bitcoin is for transactions. Hopefully people will learn from this, but of course, based on the past 5 years or so, it's safe to say they won't.

I don't think many people often trade bitcoin directly for "small" payments, more likely trade on a platform for another coin type and use that for transfers (trade can be immediate with a low fee, and other coins transfer fast with very low fees), and the other way around when receiving.

No idea how El Salvador will fare with this, but I'm going to hazard a guess that most people participating (and the country as a whole) will get screwed, while a tiny number make out with millions. (so, the usual...)

Ehe that was Belle Delphine, however Pokimane was from a rich family before even started bothering with being a streamer, so makes sense why she might want to take it easy for a bit on that bed of money.
Oh man some of these bios are just sad, but they are probably making like $1mil+ a year so I guess the joke is on me Who is Pokimane? Net worth, earnings, streaming setup, and more
